Private communal outdoor swimming pool with smaller toddler pool. Plenty of parking off-road adjacent to the complex. The apartment is within easy reach of the beach and local amenities and is also close to the port and to the commercial centre, with supermarkets, pavement cafes, tapas bars, shops and medical centre, plus only around 350m from the beach. Our agent will meet and greet you and transfers can be arranged from Almeria (35euros), Murcia (120 euros) and Malaga (120 euros) airports.

The Costa de Almeria region
The Costa Almeria coast is completely unspoilt. To the east of Almeria there is the rugged and desolate coast of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar natural park. This is an arid desert landscape and the annual rainfall here is less than 200mm. It is sparsely populated, few villages and a very low population density. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers.
Almeria is steeped in history and is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Enjoy the winding streets, and visit the museums, and dine out on the local cuisine.
Roquetas de Mar
Roquetas de Mar area
Once a traditional fishing town, Roquetas de Mar is now a popular holiday resort. The old coastal town, dating from Roman times, is a maze of narrow Moorish streets. The resort has several miles of sandy beaches, all with blue flag status. They stretch from Aguadulce in the east to the Natural Park of Puntas Entinas-Sabinar in the west. In between are the districts of Las Salinas, Roquetas old town and the Urbanización.The up-and-coming Las Salinas area of Roquetas is set on the vast plains of salt flats at the foot of the Sierra de Gádor. The area attracts flamingos, little egrets and avocets, while at Punto Sabinas, bird watchers may be lucky to sight crested larks or a great grey shrike.
The main tourist area is called the Urbanización de Roquetas de Mar. It’s attractive promenade is fringed with palm trees. Other sports that are catered for in the area include golf at the Playa Serena golf course, tennis and horse-riding. There is also an indoor shopping centre called the Gran Plaza complete with supermarket, range of shops, restaurants, bowling alley and cinema plus plenty of underground parking.
The spectacular backdrop from the apartment is the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. It is approximately half an hour's journey to the edge of the mountains and is a delightful region to explore.
