Between Menton (1 km far from) and Monaco (6 km far from)

200 m far from Carnolès beach

Located between Monaco and Menton, with the foot of the Alps, the Town of Roquebrune-Cape-Martin (933 hectares) whose various districts are staged at the edge of the Mediterranean, on a shore of 7 kilometers, is a health resort of Riviera Française of reputation.

One distinguishes in his centre five urban units with the marked identities:

•Saint-novel, at the border Monegasque, accommodating structured sector of the infrastructures of sports and leisures (Monte Carlo Country Club, Beach…),

•Cabbé, Good Voyage and Serret, sectors residential mainly suburban, sometimes diffuse, sometimes dense, where particularly sloping topography offers the typical image of Riviera Française. One finds in these sectors several elements of the architectural and cultural heritage of the commune (E-1027, Cabanon of Le Corbusier, Good Chapelle Travel…),

•The old village, combining the picturesque traditional one (perched village) with testimonys of last (castle of Xème century) and with the marks of modernity (new district of Rataou),

•Carnolès which accomodates the most recent forms urban, continuous and structured in the north of the railway, discontinuous in the south in seaside, and which constitute the principal urban hearth of the commune,

•The Cape Martin, long peninsula with the escarpées fringes which is composed at the same time of splendid villas surrounded by raised parks, symbols of the great architects and tourism of holiday of the beginning of the century (villas of Tersling), and at the same time of contemporary urban forms (plate of the Cape).

The occupation of space between these urban units resides essentially in what one commonly calls of the urbanized slopes, characteristic of the landscape of Riviera Française, on very marked slopes sometimes, the heights (which represent more half of the territory) consisting of natural spaces.

The City is served by the junction of the two main roads of the average and the low cornice (RD 6007 and RD 6098) and of the secondary road of the large cornice (RD 2564), but also by the rail which connects its two stations (located at Cabbé and Carnolès) to the big cities of the Riviera and Riviera Ligure. Regular services of interurban coaches supplement this network with specific destinations like the airport Nice-Coast-with Azur.

Roquebrune-Cape-Martin is a climatic seaside resort which thus profits from tourist contributions of populations throughout the year.

It lays out, moreover of arranged beaches, various sporting installations of quality (tennis, swimming pools, stages…) and of all the tourist animations offered by the towns of Monaco and Menton.
