Balcon de Ronda
About the home
This delightful house in the country has a private swimming pool and is on a 3,000m2 estate, full of roses, Mexican orange flowers and other attractive plants that fill the air with fragrant scents and bright colours. From the raised patio, shaded by a beautiful vine you have lovely views over the garden. There's a little flower-lined path that leads from the patio to the pool and the view opens out onto a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Inside the house the living/dining room is spacious and the open fire a wonderful focal point (especially on winter evenings!) Another lounge provides a quiet place to read. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The large, light bedrooms and a bathroom are on the first floor. The other bathroom is downstairs. The house is in a peaceful nature reserve with plenty of excellent walking and yet only 5km from the historic city of Ronda - one of the oldest in Spain and famous for its spectacular river Tajo (Tagus), more than 100m deep.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Málaga, which was a millenarian and cosmopolitan city in the past, preserves all its historical roots. Far-off times it witnessed the Mediterranean culture's and man's origins. Although it is the modern capital of the most outstanding Andalusian tourism industry, it has friendly traditional manners.
Málaga possesses a seafaring littoral, were winter never exists and far inland, the countryside shows all the beauty of nature.
Architecturally beautiful white villages, wrapped in romantic legends, make bright the hidden valleys where life means peace. And from the high sierra, one's sight catches the horizon for losing itself in the immensity of the blue sea.
The Ronda / Arriate area
Ronda is one land of bandits and bullfighters that keeps alive a legendary past that feeds a white present, trickster and challenging. Vertebrate Tagus by a depth of 100 meters has been, is and will be a city that has conquered kings, poets and bullfighters. As far as leaving the world of dreams, a white farmhouse challenged the verticality of an abyss of singular beauty.
The former Arunda, now known as Ronda, welcome the traveller unfolding a spectacle of light and endless romance. The small river Guadalevín crosses the city and divides it in two parts. Its course has created the Tajo of one hundred meters deep, one of the hallmarks of this town of Malaga. Magic City, the splendour of its beauty has made fall in love to poets like Joyce and Hemingway and every day it does with the hundreds of visitors who visit it. The heritage of the town of Ronda is a real luxury to be at the service of tourists.
