This traditional-style Andalusian cortijo stands amid the incomparable scenery of one of Andalusia's most enchanting regions, the hills of Ronda. It offers a unique opportunity to savour the old-world charm of southern Spain and combines a deceptive simplicity of decor with all the comforts and facilities to be expected of a property of this standard. Located well inland from the overcrowded beaches of the Costa del Sol, it provides the ideal setting for a tranquil, relaxing holiday yet is only a short drive from Ronda, one of Andalusia's most fascinating and unspoilt towns, where a full range of shops, restaurants and services is available. The accommodation, arranged on two floors, includes an ample entrance hall leading to a large, comfortably-furnished living room and a separate dining area. A spacious, well-equipped kitchen and a separate WC and laundry area complete the facilities on the ground floor. Upstairs are four double bedrooms, including the master bedroom with its large en suite bathroom and enjoying views over the garden from two different angles. There is also a fifth single bedroom. A separate apartment provides accommodation for teenagers, guests who desire more privacy, or staff. The outdoor lifestyle can be enjoyed to the full in the tastefully laid out garden, with its magnificent swimming pool, poolside shower facilities, fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue area, large dining table and chairs under an attractive pergola, and a plentiful supply of sun loungers. The extensive grounds are set against a backdrop of trees, open countryside and horse paddocks -a traditional feature of this part of Spain.

Two floors. Ground floor: Entrance into a hallway that leads to the living room, dining room and large, fully equipped Kitchen. Separate WC and Laundry area equipped with a large American washing machine and tumble dryer. First Floor: There are five bedrooms on this level: The master bedroom is a large, double aspect affair, with a balcony, working fireplace and dressing cupboard. Guests sleeping here can enjoy a generous en suite bathroom. Most of the double beds are king size and can be converted twins when required. Bedroom 2 is a large room with hill views. It has a big en suite bathroom with a large bath and shower. The bed is king size or can be two large twin beds. Bedroom 3 is another large room with garden views and a big en suite bathroom with large bath and shower. The bed is king size with another big single bed, or can be large twin beds with a third single. Bedroom 4 is a good sized room with queen size double bed and garden views. The en suite bathroom incorporates a shower within the bath. Bedroom 5 is a small but lovely and peaceful single room with garden views. It can share Bedroom 4's bathroom via a separate entrance. Bedroom 6, in the apartment, is ideal as an annex for teenagers, those who simply wish to be more private, or staff. Grounds: The outdoor pool/garden area is fully equipped with a kitchen, bar, dining and showering arrangements, pergolas and loungers for 18.
