DIRECTIONS
From the M27
Turn off the motorway at Junction 2, follow the A36, signposted to Salisbury, follow the A36 until you reach West Wellow (approx 3-4 miles/5-6 klms), immediately past the speed camera you turn right into Whinwhistle Road, follow this road (approx 2-3 miles/3-4 klms + couple of twist & turns) you will reach a cross road, turn left (this is the A27), follow this road for just over a 1 mile/1.6 klms and you will approach a cross road (you will see Gilberts Nursery on the left), turn right into Branches Lane, follow this road for 1 mile/1.6 klms and you approach a sign for Totehill on the left hand side turn left here (if you are going down a hill you have missed the turning), The Granary is the 1st cottage on the right.

From the M3 & A34
If you are travelling south on the M3 we recommend that at Junction 8 (the A303 turnoff) you follow the A303 for about 3 miles/5klms and just pass the BP Services you drop down off the A303 at the end of the slip road there is a staggered junction go straight ahead as the direction you are travelling after 400 yards/meteres turn left follow this road to Sutton Scotney, (if you have missed the left hand you will rejoin the A303, do not worry turn off at the next junction & follow the signs to Stockbridge).
If you are coming down the A34 you need to get off at the A303 junction and follow the signs to Stockbridge.
Hopefully both M3 & A34 drivers have arrived at Sutton Scotney entering a mini roundabout, there is a Texaco Garage on the right, for the A34 drivers turn right for the M3 drivers go straight on, (you are both on the same road) at the 2nd mini roundabout go straight on for about 6 miles/ 10klms, you will then arrive at a large roundabout turn left, after a short distance you will meet another roundabout, again turn left & immediately right onto the A3057 signposted Romsey, follow this road through Kings Sombourne for about 5-6 miles/8-10 klms and on your left you will see a pub called the Bear & Ragged Staff, turn right signposted Kimbridge, go over the river & the railway crossing and at the end of this road you have a staggered cross roads turn right & then immediately left at the end of this road there is a junction turn right (be careful visibility is not good when pulling out to turn right) proceed for about 800-1000 yards/metres & then turn left into Carters Clay, round the bend & up the hill you will see a sign to Totehill, turn right and The Granary is the 1st cottage on the right
If your satnav or route planner identifies some other route we recommend that you ignore it.
