Home description

A perfect place for couples travelling together or families wanting a home away from home while vacationing in Rome. Owner's home next door has been featured in design journals. She decorated this flat to host friends and family with her favourite international boutique hotels in mind.

London's 'The White Company' pure linen bedding and towels, top Italian design furniture, fabrics and appliances and many personal touches (apple computer, books, DVDs, children's toys, baby cots all included) create a lovely, quiet haven to which to return after a day of sightseeing.

3 large and independent bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, and a communal living-dining room, all independently air-conditioned, give everyone comfort, personal space and independence while at home.
Owner is happy to arrange airport car service, restaurant recommendation and reservations, museum visits and tour guides, english speaking babysitters, pre-arrival grocery shopping, spa reservations, housekeeping etc. on request.

The Lazio region

Lazio is a culturally rich and sunny region of central Italy. It offers everything from one of the world's most popular and historical cities (Rome) to beautiful countryside full of hills, lakes and castles and a lovely section of Italy's vast length of Mediterranean coast.

Ancient Rome, the Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Vatican, squares, parks, museums, festivals (opera, jazz, classical, dance) dining, shopping and more!

Rome / Central Rome area

Walking distance from the Roman Colosseum and Forum, the Spanish steps ( Rome's best shopping), Via Veneto, Villa Borghese, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni (2 of Rome's many large Basilicas), the lovely historic Monti neighbourhood full of cafes, shops and restaurants.

Right around the corner from trains (shortly over an hour north to Florence or south to Naples and Capri), Metro (a 10 minute ride across the city to the Vatican) and a lovely walk or short bus ride into the historic centre around Campo de' Fiori and Piazzas Farnese and Navona.

Ryan Air flies from London to Rome's Ciampino Airport many times a day.

There are 3 large and bight bedrooms. One is only a Large queen size double, while each of the other two bedrooms can either be set up with 2 twin beds or 1 king-size double bed.

Each have en suite bathrooms. 2 have showers, sink and WC and one has Bath with shower, sink, WC and Bidet.

Further details outdoors:
There is a lovely, large, very green gated garden in the square in front of the flat, maintained by Rome's architectural Society, open to the public from morning until evening daily, a perfect place for adults sit and relax or read and children to play.
