Home description

Self-catering apartment near and very well linked to the centre of Rome. You can reach Piazza del Popolo (the centre of Rome) by train or car in 20 minutes.

The apartment boasts an open loft with 3 single beds and a further double room with one double bed. A further two guests can be accommodated in the living room, where there is a double sofa bed. The apartment is part of a large villa but has an independent entrance. Other amenities include TV, DVD, free wireless internet access, and a well-equipped cooking corner with microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, American coffee maker, Moka, etcetera. Parking is free inside the garden. The garden boasts a solarium, BBQ, and a kids' play pool.

In this flat you are independent but not isolated. The rest of Rome is easily accessible by bus, train or car, and the nearest bus stop is just 100 metres away. Also close by is a bakery selling essentials including excellent bread, cheese and vegetables.

The Lazio region

The apartment is conveniently located in a quiet little suburb in the north of Rome, from where it wis easy to reach the many tourist attractions of Rome and the Lazio region. Just 100m from the apartment is the bus stop for the Montebello station. From here, you can reach the centre of Rome (Flaminio stop, train every 10 minutes) in 20 minutes. Once you're at the station, you're within easy walking distance of Piazza di Spagna, San Pietro, Fontana di Trevi, and the Colosseum!

5 minutes away is the village of Sacrofano, which boasts a little pizzeria and restaurants serving delicious home-made food. 15 minutes away, meanwhile, is the Vallelunga Circuit. 25 minutes away is the Bracciano Lake (with castle and beaches, plus typical restaurants). Also a short distance away are the medieval village of Calcata, Farnesina and the 1960 Olympic Stadium. Finally, in just half an hour you can reach the beautiful beach Santa Severa, Fregene and Ostia.

Sacrofano Montecaminetto is a little suburb in north of Rome, In the centre of Sacrofano, you will find all the amenities you need, including shops, a pizzeria, and a variety of restaurants offering typical Italian specialities such as pasta, bruschetta and tiramisu.

How to get there

Directions CIAMPINO // SACROFANO (via delle acacie 14 , MONTECAMINETTO):

TAKE APPIA road in the directions ROMA.
TAKE the G.R.A. (ring road grande raccordo anulare) in the direction
FIRENZE.
When you are on the G.R.A. pay attention and take the FLAMINIA EXIT
DIRECTION TERNI .(pay attention is on your right).
When you are on the via FLAMINIA go on until the sign SACROFANO (on your
left).on your right there is a restaurant L'OVILE and a bar.
TURN on the LEFT (via SACROFANO- CASSIA // SACROFANO).
Go on until a narrow passage , and then turn on the second little road on
your left : VIA DELLE ACACIE. (is after via del bosco).
Pay attention you don't go to Sacrofano village , because we are in
MONTECAMINETTO group of houses.
Sacrofano village(with supermarket,bar,bakery,pharmacy,bank) is at 5 km to Montecaminetto.
