The Lazio region
Rome the 'Eternal city' is not only represented by its masterpieces of art, and breathtaking architecture, monuments and museums but by its typical streets and alleyways where one can discover traits of Italian lifestyle, tradition and culture.
A visit to Rome will allow you to discover the many different historical layers which have built this beautiful city through the centuries, from the remains of the Roman empire, through the Medieval, Renaissance periods up to the modern day architecture that dots the city throughout.
Rome is more than a fascinating European capital city; it is a spectacular encyclopedia of living history. It has been said that all roads lead to Rome, and in Rome, every road leads to eternity. The city is vast, although the historic center is quite small. The whole experience of Rome is so powerful as to be almost overwhelming at times. The best way to prepare for a visit is to study a little of the history of the region, and then arrange an itinerary
that allows time to explore, rest, and reflect on the magnificence of it all. Visit Vatican City, a independent city-state located entirely within Rome. Tours of Rome are plentiful and often based on themes of history, food and wine, art, and religion. The daring may want to rent a Vespa and navigate the historical streets of a city teeming in history.
Marconi Underground station nearby. Just 4 stops from Circo Massimo and 5 from Colosseum. Public transport and metro line connect the area with city center and Termini Train Station, Trastevere, Testaccio and EUR, and to the Airport too.

"Perfect choice for my business trip to Rome"
Patrizia Holiday Home has been a perfect choice for my business trip to Rome. Very quite accommodation. Nice view from the balcony. The apartment is full of natural light and has just been renewed. Everything there was clean and tidy and the housekeeping service was great. Grocery and other little shops are just few meters away. Marconi Tube station on line B is just 6 minutes walking. From there you can reach the center of Rome and the main attractions of the capital in 10 minutes. Viale Marconi, a long shopping street plenty of italian famous high street brands, is justa a short walk away. Highly recommended accommodation for business and holidays. I have already arranged my next stay there together with my wife. I thank Marzio the owner for the warm wellcome.

"HAPPY HOLDAY IN ROME"
An ideal base for Rome: tube station very close and very quite surroundings. The apartment is very comfortable and brand new with all amenities you will need for a great stay in this fascinating city. The good sized bedrooms and fully fitted kitchen that even has a little balcony! Beds were great, good reports about the quality of the sofa bed in the living room. Our host, Marzio, is a gentleman that could not be more helpful with local advice and information. I can recommend this apartment if you are a family travelling to Rome and have absolutely no negative points to raise.
