If your trip to Rome is aimed to discover the beauties of the Capital, our apartment is absolutely perfect for you! Despite any description, we can guarantee that you will be astonished about how really central and comfortable is the location.

The apartment is composed of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, a small but well equipped kitchen, provided with washing machine, a sitting room and a dining room. Nice balcony looking on a sunny and romantic courtyard. Maximum 4 people.The apartment is very well equipped of anything you need.

Provided with every comfort, our apartment is located in an elegant, historical palace of the 17th century, really a few steps from the Pantheon square, the heart of Rome.

Going out of the main door you will find yourself just in the Pantheon Square, here called "Piazza della Rotonda", due to the round shape of the Pantheon, the best preserved monument temple of the ancient Rome, which was built on 27 B.C.! You will never need taking a taxi cab or a bus for visiting Rome city centre. Everything is nearby: Colosseum, Venice Square, the famous Spanish stairs.

You will be able to drink a coffee and sit just in front of Pantheon as well as going shopping in the smartest streets of Rome. And smartest does not mean that you will necessarily spend a lot of money! In fact, Rome is famous in Italy for offering a wide range of prices even in the most central shopping centres. Theatres, cinemas (also in English language), concert halls are in the area. If you like playing sports we will help you in contacting some clubs.

But we will also recommend you to play footing or jogging in the wonderful Villa Borghese, which is located no more than 20 minutes by foot from our apartment. There is also the convenient option touring Rome by bicycle. Just opposite the main door you will find bicycles that are put at your disposal by the Municipality of Rome. Buy the special cards in the Info Tourist points and you will be able to rent them as long as you like.

The Lazio region

In the heart of Italy and along the Tyrrhenian Sea, Lazio is the centre of the Italian political life, thanks to the presence of the government and Parliament; it is the Catholic world centre since there is the Vatican and a favourite destination of tourism for the innumerable monuments of the Roman civilization and, along the Northern Tuscan border, of the Etruscan civilization.

Apart from the area of Rome, the rest of the territory is mostly plain and hills, with mountains in the area of Rieti such as Monte Terminillo (2213 m) and in the north an area of lower mountains of volcanic origins, in whose craters many beautiful lakes took origin. Among them, Castel Gandolfo lake and Bracciano lake are very nice sites, only one hour far from Rome, where tourists can visit historical castles.

One of the most beautiful attraction of the region, the famed Tivoli water-and-wind garden, is only one hour drive from Rome. The Region hosts lots of events, fairs and exhibitions. Last but not least there are many good specialities as food and wine to taste!

Rome / Central Rome area

Rome is called the Eternal City and no name could be more fit. You will remain without words when you will see the Roman Forum, the churches, the unbelievable beauties of the City. But the true charm of Rome is its special atmosphere. All people, coming from all over the world, feel to be "at home". The City provides any kind of entertainment, as art exhibitions, theatres, concerts, sports.

Shopping for everyone, from the smartest and expensive shops in Via Condotti to the nice and cheap shopping centres spread all over the city.

During the summer the Municipality of Rome organises beautiful concerts and art exhibitions all around in the city. Do not miss the Caracalla open air opera theatre: not only operas, but wonderful concerts and ballets in the fantastic scenario of the old Roman remains!

How to get there

Both Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" and Ciampino Airports are served by many convenient airlines. The Sterling from Denmark, Air Berlin and Easyjet from Germany, Easyjet and Ryanair from the UK.

Car hire companies have their offices mainly in Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci airport. In any case we suggest to not come by car.

The apartment is located in the city centre of Rome where only residents' cars are allowed to circulate. If you come from your country by car we will recommend to you a park house which is located not far from the city centre.

Further details indoors:
The kitchen is like in your own home. Plates, glasses, pots... really everything, even the washing machine. On request we provide an iron with iron table and an hair-dryer. If you do not like to iron, the housekeeper will provide this service at an additional cost of 10,00 Euro per hour. On request, we can also serve breakfast in the morning from 7,30 to 9,00 at the additional price of 5,00 Euro per person a day.

We take care of details. Linen and towels are of the best quality and we personally take care of cleaning. Furnishing, original of late nineteenth - early twentieth century, gives to the rooms a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Cleaning, bed, bath and kitchen linen are provided and included in the cost. Independent heating. Colour TV. Radio-CD player. On request, we provide a pen drive for internet access (payment per hour). Minimum reservation two nights.

There is a lift access to property, but the apartment is on two levels, separated by flairs of 4-5 stairs. We are very sorry but for this reason the apartment is not fit for handicapped people with problems in deambulation. Because of the same reason, we recommend that kids under 5 years old are carefully followed by their parents. In fact, the stairs can be dangerous for lively children.

Further details

Minimum reservation two nights. We definitely confirm the reservation only after having received one night deposit by bank transfer. Bank reference data for this payment will be given directly to the guest at the moment of reservation.

Being a family managed enterprise we are sorry but we cannot accept credit cards. The total rent should be paid in advance by bank transfer or in cash upon arrival. At the moment of reservation guests should provide their name, address, telephone number and e-mail.

Prices may be subject to change at owner discretion, depending on seasons and on specific situations.

Conditions

Minimum booking 2 days. Maximum booking 4 months from December to March and 1 month from March to November.

One night deposit should be paid at the moment of reservation. The deposit for long term bookings will be agreed directly with the owner

People should inform us about arrival time at least one week before arrival. Arrivals after 8 o'clock in the evening are charged 50,00 Euro.
