Paolo and Jo have ample experience in the tourist business in Rome and have always had excellent feedback from guests. Our 90m flat i s a perfect base for a party wishing to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Eternal City. Sunny, fourth floor apartment with lift in an elegant building with private courtyard. There is a view of a church dome from one window. You will find everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay. Easy to reach most of Rome's tourist destinations on foot or by public transport.
There are several good restaurants and bars on Viale Giulio Cesare where you can eat delicious Italian cuisine or if you prefer, just get a pizza . There is a grocery shop just around the corner where you can buy everything you need to prepare your meals, it is open from 8 am to 8pm except Sundays. There is a chemist nearby in via Fabio Massimo. We are a few minutes away from the most important shopping streets in Rome : Via del Corso and Via Cola di Rienzo. You will find everything from high street stores to famous Italian brand names. There is something for everyone. Kids will enjoy visiting the nearby Villa Borghese where you can rent a bike or a rickshaw and you can visit the fantastic zoo , the Bioparco. In the summer you can splash around in one of Rome's water parks (Hydromania and Acquapiper) they are easy to get to by bus from our flat, just ask us for further information.
If you wish, we can book tours for you or book tickets for the weekly papal audience. Just contact us.

The Lazio region
Lazio and Rome are centres of Roman culture. Day trips from the city include Ostia Antica, the ancient Roman port; Cerveteri where you can see etruscan tombs; Tivoli,15 kms from Rome you can visit Villa Adriana and Villa D'Este with its famous fountains.Castelli Romani are famous for its wine production.
Rome's climate is very mild in the winter, temperatures rarely go below 0°centigrade. Autumn and spring are pleasant and summertime is hot.
Rome area
The property is perfect for a medium sized party that wishes to explore Rome on foot. A car is not essential as everything is within easy reach. St. Peter's square and the breathtaking Vatican museums are a short walk away. The area is full of characteristic restaurants, bars and take away food places.
The ideal place to immerge yourself in history but you can also reach a fantastic shopping area in a couple of minutes where you will find many stylish shops. There are plenty of places where you can stroll and enjoy the atmosphere, listen to live music, enjoy a drink and soak in the unique atmosphere of this truly remarkable city.
How to get there
Both Ryanair and Easyjet do direct flights to Rome. We don't recommend a car as our flat is near many important tourist sites and well connected to all points of interest.
