You can see the workshops of the oldest trasteverini and maybe try to speak their dialect or visit churches, stop and eat in one of the loats roman taverns, and go to Gianicolo (Unesco World Heritage Site), one of the 7 hills where Rome has built, and also the most beautiful view point in Rome, is within a walking distance as well as Vatican City and many other historical sites, like Porta Settimiana, Villa Farnesina, an enchanting symbol of the roman Rainassance, During summer the famous Estate Romana sets up Tevere river banks with cultural events, bars, restaurants, shops, and every day offers different attractions. In winter you can still see loats of people walking around, having aperitives outside bars, while in december it fills up with all kind of stalls.
