This beautiful apartment is located just few steps away from the Castel Sant’Angelo, in the heart of the historical centre of Rome. This very elegant and spacious apartment can accommodate up to 7 people very comfortably due to its ample sleeping area with three bathrooms.
A private lift opens directly onto a small lobby through which two different parts of the apartment are connected. The first part consists of a very large room that contains: - a wide and comfortable double bed - a comfortable double sofa bed - a fully equipped kitchenette which can be closed - a pretty dining table for four - a wardrobe, bookshelves and all other furniture needed to ensure confort - a large ensuite bathroom, with shower, bidet, basin and toilet. The second part consists of: - a double bedroom - a small room with a single sofa bed - two bathrooms with shower, one larger, the other one smaller - a small office with kitchenette and dining table for four people

This fine apartment is in the historical centre, near Castel Sant'Angelo. The splendid fortress of Castel Sant'Angelo was originally built as a mausoleum for the Emperor Hadrian in 139 AD. In the 10th century AD it was transformed into a castle, then, 500 years later, into the elegant residence of Pope Alexander VI Borgia. Michelangelo designed the marvellous main court for Pope Leon X and many of the rooms inside are decorated with frescoes of great beauty. It's also been used to house prisoners, including the sculptor Benvenuto Cellini.
