I'm an interior designer and I've just totally restyled my apartment in what I call a "scandinafrican style with a retro touch"..
It is ALL BRAND NEW and has a lovely GARDEN.
I've taken special care to have a stylish yet warm and welcoming space, by mixing design classic pieces, custom made lightings and furnishing, high quality materials as well as family memories and photos, maps, vintage postcards both from my travels and my urban explorations in Rome, a neverending surprise.
My apartment can host UP TO 5 GUESTS: it consists in two double bedrooms, the green and the avio one, each with private bathroom, one with bathtub, the other with shower; a beautiful livingroom with dining area and a single sofa bed, an open fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a studio area and a unique garden with lounge, dining area, solarium and laundry area with washing machine.
It's AIR CONDITIONED, has a private hot water and heating system, lcd tv, cd+mp3 player+radio and FREE WIFI connection.
The building has a daily concierge service.
The apartment is located in PARIOLI, which is very well known in Rome as a classy neighbourhood, very QUIET AND GREEN. It faces a small park, perfect for walking dogs or runnunig, and is very close to Villa Ada, one of the most beautiful parks in town.
The commercial area is just a few minutes walking, though.
Also, it's VERY WELL CONNECTED via public tranportation to the historical city center. Within 10 minutes walking you can take a bus, trams or metro.
In 3 metro stops you can get to the historical heart of the city, by tram to Vatican, Coliseum, Maxxi museum by Zaha Hadid, Porta Portese sunday flea market, nightlife districts such as San Lorenzo and Pigneto and many many more. The closest bus connects to Termini main train station and, from there, to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.
The Parioli area offers a wide range of AMENITIES.
It's a real paradise for foodies: very good and high class restaurants and bars, wine shops, regional foods and supermarkets. Pretty boutiques, amazing parks such as Villa Borghese and Villa Ada, the zoo and stunning museums - Galleria Nazionale di Arte Moderna, Galleria Borghese, Museo Etrusco di Valle Giulia.
If you're traveling with your baby, I'll offer free complete baby gear on request - stroller, chair, bathrobe, tableware, etc.
To all my guests:
- FREE wifi connection
- a SPECIAL WELCOMING GIFT PACK with local delicious foods
- an area orientation tour to let know all the amenities and good spots of the neighbourhood.
My guests can always count on me for local indications and suggestions, according to their needs and likes
and will have all of my support to ease their stay in Roma.

The apartment was just as beautiful as described. We especially liked the private patio. Giulia was the best host we ever had. She took the time to show us around the area - restaurants, supermarket, etc., and gave us a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. She also recommended a really nice spa with a thermal spring in Tuscany. We went there and had a wonderful experience. Our only cautionary note is that Rome is a city of hills, and the apartment is about halfway up a long hill. The bus stop is at the top of the hill and the train is at the bottom, So, if you have difficulty walking, as did one of our party, you might want to take a taxi after a long day walking around the city.
I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay and had a great time, and also to share with you a place that I love like the Tuscany spa. Thank you for being so kind and for writing all these beautiful comments! As you say Roma is a city of hills and you rarely find a large plan area here. Actually no other guest ever had any problem since, even with little kids on strollers. But I can see that someone who finds it hard walking could have some problems with that. Thank you again, when you'll return to Rome I'll be very happy to welcome you back!

"Fantastic place to stay in Rome"
We went to Rome for one week and stayed in this lovely apartment. It is a great place, nice decorated, very clean and well equipped, good working airco, in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The patio was our favorite spot to sit in the evenings, and to have breakfast. The apartment is on walking distance from supermarkets and public transport. The hostess Giulia, is a very warm and hospitable lady who really is concerned about her guests. She took the effort to show us the neighborhood, the tram and busstops, to eat the best gelato's... There was a nice bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for us, a basket full of fruit, Italian cookies, map of the city.... I would recommend it to everyone! If we are ever going back to Rome we know where we will stay!! Hilde van den Broeck and family, Belgium
Dear Hilde, thank you and your family! I loved to host you all and I'm truly happy you had a great stay. Your cookies have gone long ago but the box is right here on my desk.. Whenever you'd come back to Roma you know you'll always be most welcome!
