Close to transport and shops this fully self contained apartment is in a quiet, country lane like street within walking distance to the Vatican and amenities.
The little train across the street goes to the Estruscan excavations in Cerveteri and Tarquinia for a pleasant days outing. Originally this line went directly into the Vatican in the days when the Popes used the train for travelling. Because of this, even though not now used, it is well patrolled by Police and makes the area very safe and quaint for Rome.

The Lazio region
The train station for the line that goes to the Etruscan Archeological sites of Cerveteri and Tarquinia is alongside the Bus 64. The sites are only half an hour by train.
Rome / Near the Vatican area
The apartment is on 4th. floor and only a short walk to St.Peter's Basilica but If you prefer Bus 64 is almost at the door and only a couple of stops away. The dome of St.Peter's can be seen from the balcony where one can relax on a warm evening after a hectic day visiting the city sites.
Beside the apartment building which is at the end of a no exit street, is the new and almost completed Russian Orthodox Church. With its impressive golden dome now facing that of St.Peter's they seem to say welcome to the world together.
Supermarkets and shops are withing walking distance.
There is an elevator in the building.
How to get there
Ryan air and others to Ciampino and Fiumicino. From both there is a bus to main station or from Fiumicino the fast train.
From main station take Bus.64. Get off at the terminus which is St.Peter's Train station and the house is across the road.
