Ref. 14931 - This beautiful 45m2 attic can comfortably sleep up to four people and is situated on the seventh floor of a magnificent building (with a lift) just a few metres from the Coliseum and the Fori Imperiali in the beautiful area of Rione Monti.

The Rione Monti is one of the most characteristic and picturesque areas of historical Rome and the apartment is strategically located for visitors to travel on foot to most monuments as well as being just a short stroll from the metro stop Cavour.

The areas surrounding the Via del Boschetto, Via dei Serpenti, Via Panisperna and Via Baccina (where the apartment is located) maintain all the close-knit and familiar ambience of a small village; an atmosphere which is accentuated with the numerous crafts workshops, small boutiques and small, narrow and intimate streets. The neighbourhood is particularly peaceful, quite a surprise in a city such as Rome. Visitors will enjoy strolling around its streets and enjoying the towers and noble family palaces that make it one of the most historical districts in the city. Numerous Trattorie (typical local restaurants serving Roman cuisine) provide guests the opportunity to taste the most local popular dishes.

This beautiful apartment is located in a quiet street in the heart of the historical city alongside the church Santa Maria Maggiore from which the ruins of the Foro Romano, the baroque churches and the Coliseum are all close at hand.

It is an ideal choice of accommodation for couples as well as families with small children and even business travelers who wish to enjoy romantic holidays in the 'eternal city' from a central location and in charming and fascinating city neighbourhood.

This beautiful designer apartment is distributed in one open-plan area with a fully-fitted modern kitchen that will make all guests feel completely at home.

There is a double bed and double sofa bed that fully utilize the space and provide an area for long, calm conversations to discuss all the excitement and experiences of the day. The bathroom is practical and functional and includes a shower and toilet.

There is also air conditioning and internet connection throughout the apartment as well as a magnificent terrace.

Description: Monti is the oldest district in Rome, and owes its name to its location, close to three of the city's seven hills. The area emanates centuries of history; and offers a whole number of different architectural styles from the Roman to the Baroque. One of Rome's historical districts, Monti is a separate world located in the very centre of town. If you are looking to breathe a genuine Roman atmosphere, this is an absolute must. Calm yet lively during the day, and busy at night, it offers the visitor a whole number of leisure possibilities, and not only of a cultural nature. Monti is in the centre of Rome, close to the Estación Termini Train Station and the Coliseo (Coliseum); the area delimited by Trevi to the west, Campitelli to the south, and the Muros Romanos (Roman walls) to the north and east. It can be divided into two separate areas - the XIX buildings and the Roman era: • The former is includes the thoroughfares Via Cavour, the city's major traffic highway, the Via dei Fori imperiali, dating back to 1933 and the famous Via Nazionale • The latter is the archaeological park found around the area of Colle Oppio, Coliseo, Foro and the Mercado de Traiano. Nowadays great interest surrounds the Suburra the most picturesque area of the district including: Via dei Serpenti, Via del Boschetto, Via Panisperna, and Via Urbana. In these narrow cobble-stoned streets, a fusion of past and present dons the area with an almost timeless atmosphere. Craft workshops and traditional inns snuggle alongside designer shops, minimalist restaurants, bars and jazz clubs. The beautiful Piazzetta Madonna dei Monti, deriving its name from the church overlooking the square, houses the life of the whole district. At any time of day or night people can be found sitting around the fountain and children playing. It is also the location of the San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane, the Borromini, Santa Maria in Selci church and the basílica de San Pietro in Vincoli, that houses Michelangelo's Mosé. Located strategically close to the Estación Termini it is particularly easy to move around from here. The nearest metro stops are Cavour and Colosseo on Line B and Termini on Line A and B. There are also many bus routes that pass along Via Cavour, Via Nazionale and Via Labicana. A good option is to walk from here to the most important places of interest such as: Via dei Fori imperiali, Piazza Venezia, Campo de Fiori, and Piazza Navona for example.
