Close to the Roman Forum, just a stroll from the Colosseum, this small and luxurious apartment for 4 people placed in the middle of the Roman remains is the perfect synthesis of ancient and modern: cozy low ceilings with ancient wooden joints, original walls from 1500, decorated with furniture and lamps of famous designers and all the comfort you may desire.

Welcome to HomesSweetRome: we are based in the middle of the oldest neighborhood of Rome, the “Rione Monti”, which has maintained alive its popular spirit. Now, as back in the old times, the whole area is a lively labyrinth of shops, craftsmen, restaurants, taverns, bars, trendy clubs, art galleries, antique shops and much more. It is here that Julius Caesar was born in 100 B.C. and that Nero's Great Fire of Rome took place in 64 A.D.: these narrow streets are the true testimony of Rome's history… prepare to sleep in the middle of all of this!

HomeSweetRome's apartment is a mezzanine on the first floor, composed of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa-bed for 2 people and a bathroom with shower. Inside you will find all you need for the best holiday in Rome: air conditioning and independent heating, LCD TV with DVD player, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, tourist guides and maps. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooking plate, fridge, freezer, electric and microwave ovens, water kettle, orange squeezer, bread toaster, coffee machine and much more to allow you to cook your own meals.

Nearby, if you wish, you can rent bicycles and scooters. However, the subway is at only 5 minutes walking distance, but more importantly, HomeSweetRome is truly in the heart of Rome, from here you can quickly walk to:

Roman Forum - 1 min.

Colosseum - 5 min.

Trevi Fountain - 7 min.

The home sweet Rome apartment is Excelent placed... 1 min to Fori Imperiali.... everything looks new, very clean, modern, and with a very friendly host. By the way it is in front of the best restaurant in Rome La taverna dei Fori Imperiali

"Fabulous neighborhood 1-bedroom condo. Kitchen completely equipped right down to the fresh milk in the reefer."

Clara is an incredibly thoughtful and generous owner, who stocked the kitchen with coffee, fresh milk, sugar, salt and pepper, even corn flakes and cookies. We loved the street we were on with shops… More

"great accommodation in the heart of Rome"

My family (husband and two teenagers) all thought this was a really wonderful apartment. The Forum was at the end of the road and the Coliseum was only a few minutes away. The apartment is a one bed with a pull out sofa in the living room. Although the apartment is small it has everything you might need. The building is very old but decor is modern and works really well. We all loved it. The apartment was spotless and Clara left us some supplies - tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread etc. The area is great - right in the centre of everything. Pizzeria next door v. good. Lots of restaurants around. About 5 mins walk to metro.
