Superb 3 bedroom, all en suite, contemporary apartment a stone's throw from the PIAZZA DEL POPOLO.

This is a spacious (150 sq m) property located a short stroll from the most famous square in Rome. The apartment itself is composed of three spacious double bedrooms that have private en-suite bathroom. The beds can be made up as doubles or used as twins. Two of the bedrooms are big enough to have a separate roll-out bed taking occupancy up to 8.

The apartment has been finished to a very high standard and comes with well equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar and a large dining area.

The located is on the upper floor of a converted 'mew's' style house along a private road. The apartment is very quiet due to there being no traffic. If you are lucky you might hear students from the Rome Orchestra practising in the ajacent park.

The extremely efficiant house manager lives in the next building and she is on site to welcome you, and generally provide assistance in any way. Should you have a light flight home, she would be happy to look after your bags while you enjoy your last day sightseeing!

The Lazio region

With a capital like Rome, it's not surprising that the rest of Lazio is somewhat overshadowed. But get out of the city and you'll discover a region that's not only beautiful – hilly in the north, parched and rugged in the south – but also rich in history and culture. Take a train to the Circeo national park and swim off the rocks or head across to the magical island of Ponza.

No other city comes close. Rome is an epic, bubbling-over metropolis harbouring lost empires. One visit and you'll be hooked. Rome has a glorious monumentality that it wears without reverence. Its architectural heirlooms are buzzed around by car and Vespa as if they were no more than traffic islands.

The city bombards you with images: elderly ladies with dyed hair chatting in Trastevere; priests with cigars strolling the Imperial Forums; traffic jams around the Colosseum; plate loads of pasta in Piazza Navona; sinuous trees beside the Villa Borghese; barrages of pastel-coloured scooters heading out to the Vatican, St Peters or the Spanish steps.

"Lovely apartment in a good position"

Good apartment - all ensuite rooms. High standard of decor. Good equipment (no oven) but everything else is great. Easy to walk to the gardens and Piazza del popolo but tranquil in the evening. Nice local shops and restaurants.
Good for families, several couples of three single people wanting the comfort of a hotel but the facilities of self catering
