About this location
The Lazio region
Prati quarter is the best commercial area of Roma with lots of shops, touristic attractions, typical restaurants and italian bars to drink a good cappuccino in the morning or an ice-cream in the evening.
The area is very well served by the subway line and lots of public buses, but the best is that you can reach on foot all the highlights of Rome. Better is really impossible!
Walking distance from the Vatican, Navona square, Trevi fountain, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps and the best shopping area of the whole town to buy real italian fashion items, food or souvenirs. The area is elegant, quiet and with many typical trattorias where you can taste the good roman cuisine: lamb, home-made pasta, pizza, fresh fruit and vegetables, ice-cream and the famous take-away “grattachecca romana” of the kiosks open along the Tiber.
