Campo de Fiori Luxury Apt
About the home
Accessed by a single flight of stairs, the apartment is situated on the first floor of a 15th century palazzo, a listed building in a quiet corner of the centre of Rome. The apartment is deliberately furnished in a modern style with many design pieces carefully selected to contrast the original features of the ancient building. The result is a perfect fusion of historic and contemporary art as can be seen in the careful juxtaposition of the early 19th century walnut and marble chest of drawers, the crystal chandelier and the glass panelled bedroom door.
The apartment is composed of an elegant sitting room with single sofa bed and fully furnished kitchenette equipped with oven, dishwasher, dining table and all necessary utensils, above which there is a suspended gallery floor (h 2 m) furnished with a double bed (140 x 190 cm).
The master bedroom (with double bed) is furnished in shades of white and features various elements of historic interest such as a drinking fountain (probably dating back to the late middle ages) at the side of the bed, now used as a bedside table, and a marble panel on the opposite wall.
The bathroom, which is fitted with a shower, is furnished with design elements such as a crystal washbasin and an illuminated mirror, while in the wall next to the window it is possible to see part of the original Roman guttering of the ancient palazzo.
The apartment is also fitted with an air-conditioning system, washing and drying machine, LCD TV, and stereo CD player.
Finally, the apartment is lined with a lacunar ceiling, while the kitchenette and sitting room are divided by an ancient red brick archway and the bedroom door is surmounted by an delightful angel’s wing. The originality and attention to detail with which the apartment is furnished will make your holiday in Rome an unforgettable experience and this time not only as a result of the beauty of the Eternal City!

Enquire nowThe Lazio region
Lazio also recounts its history through enchanted places. Starting from Rome, the Eternal City, as we pass through the age-old villages and myriad evocative sites that so enrich the whole area, we gain a complete picture, a marvellous image of this attractive region.
From the Medieval village of Calcata, transformed in recent years into a bohemian enclave, to haughty Tivoli’s imperial villas, true masterpieces declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites; or the majestic, evocative Civita di Bagnoregio, nicknamed the “dying city” and famed as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, or the Natural Oasis of Ninfa, a jewel of nature and culture, rising where marsh once reigned and nicknamed the “Medieval Pompei”: from north to south, from east to west, many are the roads that lead to Rome, a place that, at every moment, offers stirring images of the past in perfect harmony with a seductive modernity.
The Rome / Central Rome area
Located right in the heart of the city centre, Campo de Fiori is one of the most characteristic places of interest in Rome, a square which bustles with life at every hour of the day and night. Indeed, every morning the entire square is taken over by a fruit and vegetable market, while in the afternoon it is possible to browse the crafts shops and boutiques which line its sides and in the evening the whole square comes alive with numerous restaurants, pizzerias, wine bars and clubs.
Campo de Fiori makes an ideal base for visitors wishing to visit the city of Rome on foot with historic sites such as the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, Trastevere, the Jewish ghetto and Piazza Venezia all within easy reach of a pleasant stroll.
