“Exactly what we needed at the right price” The apartment was exactly as pictured and clean, although the climb up to it was quite steep - this was not a problem for us but may be to some. Stefano and Silvia were extremely pleasant and helpful and it was comforting to have a contact in Rome should we need it. Travelling with two teenagers the availability of Wi-Fi was a massive advantage. We chose to walk everywhere but the instructions for public transport were clear. We used the Pizzeria at the bottom of the steps one evening and this was pleasant and good value. The supermarket was lightly stocked but again the staff were very helpful and pleasant and it was possible to obtain all basics and a few extras. The Spar shops in the city held more variety if you are choosing to 'cook in'. Whilst it was extremely good value I notice the prices have now changed considerably so this is perhaps not a fair comparison
