"AliceInTrastevere - a great base for a few days in Rome"

This was our first visit to Rome. We were very impressed with the warm welcome we received on arrival from Andrea and Alice. They gave us lots of excellent advice on how best to see Rome in the few days we had, and on the local shops and restaurants. The flat was comfortable and clean, with all facilities, and its situation in Trastevere was perfect for us to enjoy the sights of Rome and then to retreat, when we wished, to the quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Despite the closeness to the Tiber and the main roads carrying traffic along the river it was very quiet at night, perfect for us. I cannot imagine a better base from which to explore Rome. Four days was not nearly enough and, should we return one day, we would be very happy to stay here again. The whole experience was very pleasurable, made more so by the considerate, friendly attitude of Andrea and Alice.

"Apartment- superb. Owners - fabulous, friendly and professional"

We love this apartment. It feels like home, not a rental. It is decorated and designed with taste and loving. Andrea and Alice make you feel as if you are their special guests.
The location is perfect -a quiet courtyard of Trastevere while at the same time close to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navonna , the Vatican and all the restaurants and life of Trastevere. A very short distance from the apartment is a lovely walk to the Ginnicolo Hill with a superb view of Rome. ( These hills can be viewed from the living room sofa while having a glass of wine as well!)
Andrea and Alice had great advice on what to see and what special foods to eat at Easter in Rome. They always show a great deal of professionalism and helpfulness.
Thank you both again very much for a lovely time. We can't wait to return to our "home in Rome." Thank you for making your home like our own home.

Dear guest.
Thanks for your great review and for all the kind words of appreciation for our work and about the apartment.
I'm really sorry for the washing machine misunderstanding. It's all my fault. The washing machine is fully functional but i've forgot to explain how to use it. The scotch tape that you have found on one of the control knobs refers only to the drying function of the washer, which we prefer not to use because of the high power consumption of the drying program. Thanks also for the suggestions regarding the armchair. We plan to buy one as soon as possible. Hope to have you again our valued guest.
Best regards
