To the east there are several kilometres of beautiful coast - Civitavecchia to the north, as well as Santa Marinella, Porto S. Stefano, and Porto Ercole. To the south the coast is much more beautiful - Anzio, Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo, Sperlonga, Gaeta (with its famous castle).

There are 3 wonderful islands, Ponza, Palmarola and Ventotene which are all easily accessible by ferry from San Felice Circeo, Anzio or Formia.

In the interior of the region, to the north-east are the wonderful Appennines, Lake Bracciano and two beautiful medieval cities: Viterbo and Rieti. A few kilometres from Rome to the south-east are several wondeful volcanic lakes, Castel Gandolfo (the summer residence of the Pope) and Nemi.

This region is surrounded by Tuscany, Campania, Abruzzo and the Tyrrhenian Sea

"Fabulous chic apartment! Definitely recommended!"

My family and I (two adult children and parents) stayed here in Sept 2011 when we visited Rome. The booking was easy and the arrangements for us to meet Rodolfo at the apartment was easy too. We met him there- he showed us around. The apartment was even better that we imagined and was brilliant for walking right into the centre of Rome. It was close to all of the sights and has a few bars and restaurants around it. The services at the apartment are great. Rodolfo makes a great host! There is also a local supermarket for supplies. We would definitely recommend staying here! It was great!
