Home description

Built only 40 Km away from Rome, the villa stands in the Comune of Anguillara Sabazia, famous location on the shores of Lake Bracciano. Recently restructured, it stands between hillsides and inside a natural oasis in the forests between the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano. The villa is structured as follows: Master bedroom, living room with a sofa (adaptable as a bed), kitchenette, and one bathroom. The living section overlooks the swimming pool and has a beautiful view of Lake Bracciano at a distance; the wide garden and the porch are available to the guests.

The Lazio region

The name of the region also survives in the tribal designation of the ancient population of Latins from whom the Romans originated. The name is most likely derived from the Latin word "latus", meaning "wide", expressing the idea of "flat land". Lazio is notable for its history, art, architecture, archaeology, religion and culture.

Rome Lake District

Anguillara Sabazia (Italy, Region of Lazio,Province of Rome) is a small town located in the countryside of Rome, around 30 km northwest of the city. It nestles on a small cape on the coast of the Bracciano Lake; its medieval centre and its beach make it a popular destination for tourists.
Anguillara is served by a local train ("FR-3") which connects it with Rome (stations of Ostiense and of Valle Aurelia) in around 40 minutes.Three kilometres east of the town lies the small, volcanic lake of Martignano, also popular with tourists. The two lakes and the surrounding area have been declared as Regional Park and are under a strict naturalistic control.
Anguillara Sabazia borders the following municipalities: Bracciano, Campagnano di Roma, Cerveteri, Fiumicino, Rome, Trevignano Romano.
