The Lazio region

Lazio is a sea region with a very beautiful lake district, in Lazio there are Rome, Viterbo - a beautiful medieval small city - and the famous area Castelli Romani. The area in between Rome, Viterbo and Latina is full of huge shopping centres.The etrurian area of Lazio full of historical places and attractions is within a 30 min drive.

Rome Lake District / Trevignano Romano area

The lake District is a place of quiet and peace, it is enjoyable for families with young kids.

Trevignano Romano is a town full of activities, you can ride horses, play tennis and golf, go to the lakeside.

There is a water park within 20min drive in the near etrurian town of Sutri.

Viterbo, 40km from Trevignano, is spa city, also full of monuments and places to visit, including a very interesting medieval town centre.

Rome is a 30min drive.

The nigthlife near Trevignano is a great one, with lots of discos within a 30min drive.

Trevignano and nearby towns are full of restaurants serving typical food.

How to get there

By public transportation: Landing in Fiumicino, take the train to Roma Trastevere. From Roma Trastevere take to train to Bracciano. From Bracciano buses for Trevignano depart every half an hour.

By car: Landing in Fiumicino, take the G.R.A. direction Cassia/Flaminia. Take the exit Cassia V. (exit n°5), after 30km exit Trevignano. You enter here the Settevene Palo road. Settevene Palo is 15km long, at the end of which you enter Trevignano Romano.
