Home description

La Cavetta is the perfect place for parties up to 10 people or for single families who wish to spend their holidays in a relaxing place.
Indaco and Porpora are our two open-space independent apartments (45 and 48 sqm).
They are located on a side of the villa facing the swimming pool and the garden.
The apartments are elegantly furnished and every single detail was studied to meet our guests' needs.
Standard accommodation in the apartments is of 4+4 people (+ baby cot).
Upon request, it is possible to rent both Indaco and Porpora which can be communicating from inside.
Both the apartments have air conditioning, a mini bar, satellite pay TV and DVD player.
Oliver is our charming double bedroom facing the swimming pool and the garden. It has a magnificent view over Lake Bracciano that you can enjoy from its terrace. It is provided with air conditioning, satellite pay TV, fridge, microwave oven, electric coffee machine. Independent entrance, en-suite bathroom with a large and comfortable shower.

The Lazio region

From La Cavetta you can easily reach all the interesting sites of the area: Rome and the Vatican City (35 km), Cerveteri (30 km), Bracciano (12 km), Sutri (12 km), Viterbo (45 km), Tarquinia (61 km), Tuscania (52 km), Caprarola (25 km), the hills of Tolfa and other attractive places such as the beautiful beaches north of Rome or Umbria and Tuscany.

Rome Lake District / Trevignano Romano area

Trevignano Romano is a delightful small town which, together with Bracciano and Anguillara, overlooks the clean and transparent waters of lake Bracciano.
Founded on a lavic rock, Trevignano is built on the northern side of the lake in a small bay formed by a secondary crater of an ancient volcano. Because of its position the climate is temperate and the whole area is exposed to the sun all day long.
A walk in the old part of town will reveal the ancient ruines of the Rocca Orsini and the Church of the Assumption, built in the 16th century on the ruins of an earlier gothic building.
You can also spend some time pleasantly walking around the small mediaeval borgo  before relaxing in one of the many bars and restaurants Trevignano offers along the lake.

For those of you who like sports, you can take lessons of sailing, windsurfing or canoeing, play tennis or golf, go riding or try paragliding.
Moreover, La Cavetta is close to the famous Vallelunga motor-racing track, where you can even have safety driving lessons.
At a very close distance from La Cavetta you can enjoy two ancient spa: one is in Viterbo (the medieval city of Popes) and is named "Terme dei Papi", the second one, named "Terme di Stigliano", is located in Canale Monterano, a village with a beautiful archaeological site.

How to get there

From Rome
Take the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and then exit no. 5 on SS2 Cassia Veientana, direction Viterbo.
Exit at the Trevignano Romano junction on SS 2 Cassia (approximately 35 km north of Rome); then follow the sign Trevignano on SP4a for 5 km until you find Via della Cavetta on your right hand side. We are 300 metres away from turning at no. 6.

Take the road Via Settevene (SP4a) towards Rome: Via della Cavetta is 5 km away on this road on your left hand side. We are 300 metres away from turning at no. 6

Each open-space apartment has a double bed, a bathroom with a big and comfortable shower, a wardrobe, a living area with two spare beds in Porpora and a queen-size folding sofa bed in Indaco, a fully equipped kitchenette facing the blossoming garden and the patio.
Both the apartments have air conditioning, a mini bar, satellite pay TV and DVD player.
Oliver bedroom s provided with air conditioning,satellite pay TV, fridge, microwave oven. Independent entrance, en-suite bathroom with a large and comfortable shower.

Further details outdoors:
During your evenings at home you can enjoy the barbecue, which is outside the apartments and close to the swimming pool. Back from your daily tours, you can have a chilled glass of wine waiting for your steak to be grilled and then... have an unforgettable and romantic bath under the moon!
Each unit has its own shadowed gazebo with sunbeds.
A hot external shower and a fitness area are at our guests' disposal.

Opinione: Beautiful,restful,comfortable accommodation in a wonderful and convenient setting. Ideal as a base for those visits to Rome, and surrounding areas or just to relax in the sun, by the pool without going anywhere. Our hosts Theresa and Franco made us very welcome. Opinione: A beautiful and very quiet place overlooking the lake. The apartment is very cosy and tastefully furnished .
Beautiful swimming-pool on a very large and soft lawn. You could spend hours relaxing there and don't feel the need to visit the countryside but it's worth seeing though.
Finally very special thanks to very special hosts,Téresa and Tranco whose friendliness, caring and respectful attention we greatly appresitaed.They moreover speak perfect french and perfect Englih. Lots of thanks to them both we wish we could have stayed longer.

Opinione: Quel bel endroit!
Une maison magnifique dans un beau parc avec une très belle piscine le tout avec vue sur le lac di Bracciano.
Les 2 locaions très bien aménagées sont comfortables, calmes. La décoration est recherchée et on se sent bien dans les appartements. L'extérieur est très agréable: chaises longues de qualité en terrasse et aux abords de la piscine, BBQ en belles pierres.
La piscine est facilement accessible (marches et revêtements anti glisse) et est très propre et spacieuse.
Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, et leur adorable chien a réconcilié mon plus jeune fils avec la gente canine!
Madame parle parfaitement français ce qui peut être utile.
Rome est facilement accessible avec le train express régional (climatisé) pour seulement 2 euros (aller et retour) par personne (arrivée à St. Pierre).
Bre, vacances réussies pour toute la famille.

Toda la familia proveniente de España estuvo alojada en los apartamentos Indaco y Purpura durante unos días con motivo de nuestra boda.
Nos quedamos impresionados con el entorno, los paisajes, el confort y la decoración de los apartamentos. Realmente excepcional.
Tuve mi sesión de fotos previa a la boda en los jardines de la piscina, son maravillosas!.
Es un sitio tranquilo para pasar unas vacaciones y disfrutar tanto de las atraciones de la ciudad como de la paz y belleza de la campaña romana y sobre todo del lago de Bracciano. Altamente recomendable!!!

Location is excellent for excursions to Rome and all the lovely villages nearby. La Cavetta is placed in lovely , quiet surroundings. Excellent for taking a walk and talking in the view. Very nice and caring hosts.

La Cavetta Guest House is definitely worth a visit. The guest house is very nice and cozy decorated. With a sunny terrace and swimming pool. You feel home at once. The scenery is gorgeously peaceful. It almost
makes you hesitant to explore the surroundings, which are equally worth a visit. And although Rome is an appealing city and is just a small hour distance from La Cavetta, there will be time too short to do all as the
guesthouse and its facilities will make you very lazy. So, although we stayed only a couple of days it's more than worthwhile to stay longer.
