On the groundfloor has the chalet a large living room with big and romantic fireplace, open space fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom and a study with a double bed and panoramic view: in case is there also a sofa bed and baby crib if requested. The laundry has a washingmachine.
On the second floor is one double bedroom, a bathroom, another bedroom with two single beds, and a terrace with a wonderful view. On the topfloor is one double bedroom with bathroom and terrace with view. 5 MINUT GOLF LE GUERCE. The regional park of the lakes of Bracciano and Martignano is
equidistantly from Rome (40 minutes) and Viterbo. Within the various ancient centres principally rural makes this an ideal place to stay. Nearby: Bagnaia with its famous VILLA LANTE, the Farnese palace at Caprarola, the Cathedral at Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoreggio (la città che muore),Viterbo with its beautiful medieval centre, the numerous Etruscan excavations in Ceveteri,
Tarquinia, Tuscania, Veio, Barbarano ,. 5 minutes to the amphitheatre Sutri a medieval centre. etc etc.....
And of course Rome and the Vatican nearby! about 30 minutes

Trevignano Romano is a picturesque village of about 4000 citizens extending along the northern shore of the lake of Bracciano, formerly known as Lake Sabatino. The village build upon a basalt cliff that lies on the end of a small bay formed from a secondary crater of an extinct volcano. Its south-facing position and the presence of thermal waters have always attracted human habitations.

Today Trevignano welcomes his visitors with a delightful medieval district and a tree-lined lakeside promenade well provided with places to taste the local specialities, all immersed in the magical background of a gem within the villages surrounding Rome and the limpid coloures of its lake and environment. Nearby San Liberato, you'll love immediately, a place near to the castle Odescalchi, where has married Tom Cruise, that know already the
antics, that know the owners, the travelers, the curious and first of all the lovers which desire to celebrate their love in a dream day inside a wonderful botanic garden.

How to get there

The city of Rome has two(2) airport: Fiumicino/Leonardo Da Vinci & Ciampino. For low cost Flight such as Ryanair, Easyjet. At the airports car rental available ( see: www.herzt.com), (www.avis.com ) (if you want to book online).

Fly to Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino airports, then rent a car or take the local train to Rome and Anguillara Sabazia or Bracciano. From there, you’ll find a bus transport to Trevignano Romano

We had a great time this week. The nature around lake Bracciano is beautiful. We visited Rome a few times and it in an impressive city. From the hause we have a great view. The cottage is very comfortable and wonderful. We want thank Roberta and her son Ivan for their hospitality and the great pizza that we had.
