The Lazio region
The Lazio region is just in the middle of the Italian peninsula and it's where all the ancient italic civilization were born (Etruscans and Romans). Due to its history and nice climate it's an ideal place for tourism and holiday.
Rome Lake District / Sutri area
Sutri is a medieval little town and perhaps is the most beautiful and relatively undiscovered Etruscan archeological site just 40 minutes from the Eternal City. In the area you can find lakes, thermal waters and spa, golf courses and many historical places and monuments to be seen.

Fly to Rome Fiumicino or Rome Ciampino airports - www.adr.it - where you can: 1) find the following car hire companies: Avis, Hertz, Maggiore, Europcar, Sixty, Auto Europa, Thrifty, Italy by car; 2) use public trasportation. Trains - www.trenitalia.it - and buses - www.cotralspa.it - run regularly between the airports and Rome and between Rome and Sutri.
