The chalet is situated in an authentic village called Rollieres -a medieval small village that perhaps counts 35 families in all, Distance: 9km. from Sestriere- 1 hour from Turin - 2 hours of freeway from Milan and 7 km from Briançon (France).

The chalet is in old barn completely restructured far away from the noise and the confusion. Lot green in the vicinities of torrent and to little distance from lake mounts. The location is a delicious and romantic attic of 65 mq.

The North West Italy / Piedmont/Lake Maggiore region

There are so many reasons to visit the Piemonte Region. Here a holiday becomes a sequence of trips: first through the hills of the Canavese, exploring castles and towers, sanctuaries and abbeys, royal residences and parks. Thousands of years of people passing through and its strategic position have left a huge variety of historical evidence all over Piedmont mountain area, starting from prehistoric times, to the Romans, then to the castles of the Acaja and Savoy families, and the evocative remains of the Via Francigena with the Sacra di San Michele and Novalesa Abbey.

There are also cultural and historical traces of the federation of the Escartons and the heroic exploits of the Waldensians, and also powerful military fortifications, the first and foremost of these being Fenestrelle and Exilles. To complete this very broad panorama of cultural resources in the Olympic Mountains, there are sites of industrial archaeology, mining and stone quarrying to visit, and many museums of history and ethnography.

Rollieres / Sauze di Cesana area

These mountains, where skiing first started in Italy over a century ago, offer a total sporting and leisure experience in all seasons of the year. In winter, there is obviously lots of downhill skiing and snowboarding, but there is also cross country and cross country trekking, tracks for snowshoe walks and ski alpinism itineraries in a fabulous setting of unspoiled, natural surroundings.

The Borgata di Rollieres, fraction of the municipality of Sauze di Cesana, is situated on two sides of the medioevale road . A stroll around the chalets and lanes of an old village built of stone and wood, or on a footpath that leads to a lake or a memorable panorama; a game of golf on the green, surrounded by the greenery of the forests: the mountains in this area offer a host of pleasant, relaxing experiences.

Those who wish to enjoy a peaceful holiday can choose less strenuous pursuits, such as a mountain bike ride on one of the easier trails, a game of tennis or an afternoon in the swimming pool. And in between these activities, you can enjoy a few moments of absolute relaxation and pure beauty, lost in contemplation of the mountains: all you need is a pair of stout boots and a walking stick, and you are ready to set off in search of high alpine panoramas.

Then, as evening approaches, let the lights of the village and the chimney smoke guide you down to the stone buildings and wooden huts that preserve the atmosphere, charm and warmth of the true mountain.

There are a lot of different things to do in the mountains during the summer, including mountain-biking, golf, hang-gliding and paragliding. An ideal place to brave the rapids for an exciting river descent is the Sesia Valley, where it is possible to practise canoeing, rafting, hydrospeeding or canyoning, with varying levels of difficulty and in the company of specialised guides.

- One house keeping will come once a week to cleening the apartment and make laundry.
- Available 1 change (towels and sheet ) during the week, when request.
- The Garden is shared with the other 2 owners of the house.

Conditions

- Rent start from € 600 to €1200 a week, all inclusive.
- 50% of rental fee at the reservation time and the rest one mounth before your stay, to secure booking.
- Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
- Refundable breakages deposit of £ 200 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
