In the heart of the Vega Baja, overlooking the Crevillente mountains, close to the Spanish town of Rojales, 10 minutes drive from the beaches of Guardamar. The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a shared swimming pool, a garden, a balcony, panoramic views and BBQ.
Entering the villa from the front you will come in to the lounge, and modern kitchen, fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, Iron & ironing board. spacious lounge with sofa bed and two armchairs, TV, radio. There are two spacious double ground floor bedrooms, both have large fitted wardrobes with plenty of hanging & storage space, two bathrooms.
There is also a large courtyard leading from the lounge through double patio doors, from the courtyard there are steps leading to a very large solarium, with a room having a daybed for relaxing out of the midday sun. There are a table, chairs, & sun loungers.
It has a quiet location with excellent residential neighbours, yet is only a 10 minutes walk to many local bars, restaurants and supermarkets and only a 10 minute drive to Guardamar, probably the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.
If you prefer to stay by the communal pool, for your comfort there is a picnic area. Your stay here will be an enjoyable one. Weekly street markets are held in the local towns of Rojales and Benijofar. The lively town of Ciudad Quesada with its night-life is only 15 minutes walk.

Less than 15 minutes drive away : Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports centre, scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a food shop.
Less than 45 minutes drive away : Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, flying, mountain biking, historic sites, a zoo, a themepark.
The area has Banks, Restaurants, Bars an Aquapark all within 10 minutes walk The Spanishtown of Rojales with its weekly street Market is just a few min walk
With 340 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 20 degrees. Located next to the mouth of the River Segura, Guardamar overlooks a long beach bordered by a large expanse of sand dunes covered with pines and eucalyptus. The setting is one of the most unique scenes in the Land of Valencia, with an original combination of extensive coastal dunes protected by a verdant forest, fertile fields and orchards and the omnipresent beach and the Mediterranean sea. The forest parkland of the Dunas de Guardamar, with over 800 hectares running parallel to the coast, is a wonder in a class of its own.
Rojales area
Car hire is recommended, and we can arrange this for you, however there are shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance, and the quaint Spanish town of Rojales with its interesting cave houses and weekly street market is only a few minutes walk, also the Spanish village of Benijofar with a weekly street market selling fresh home grown produce, is only a few minutes walk.
The area surrounding Rojales Hills has everything from beautiful clean blue flag beaches to a vast array of bars & restaurants. It also has many golf courses 3 within 10 minutes drive away at La Marquesa (Ciudad Quesada) Villa Martin, Las Ramblas & Campoamour all pay & play but its best to book (Garry can arrange special discounts for golfers). Cycle hire is available with a free delivery service direct to the villa. Details are in the information folder.
The nearest large coastal town is Guardamar Del Segura with its European Blue Flag Beaches and is only 10 minutes drive, with a good range of shops, a weekly market plus a large marina with a promenade which holds regular evening craft fairs. We have also provided an information folder which we have compiled from our visits which we hope you find useful.
How to get there
Fly to Alicante or Murcia - Casa Cathy is just 30 minutes drive from either of these airports. Take advantage of our own airport transfers, special rates for our guests. Cheap flights available from Easyjet, Ryanair, Bmibaby, to Alicante and Murcia airports. Car hire available from www.dickmannscarhire.com. Special rates and conditions for our guests ie no excess, QUOTE agency 47 Local buses run regularly between the major towns and beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar Del Segura. Our shuttle service is always available - fare should be no more than 20 euros for around trip.

You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
Further details outdoors: The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, panoramic views, interesting views (see below for details), a barbecue. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
