Set in the grounds of the owners grade II country cottage, this detached holiday cottage with its own garden has been created from a converted blacksmith's forge which was completely refurbished during 2010/11.

It is suitable for holidays throughout the year with full gas central heating and double glazing. At the same time it retains original elements such as the original oak beams from which hang horseshoes found in the garden.

The accommodation which is all on the ground floor features a bright, airy triple aspect open plan living/dining area with vaulted ceilings and oak flooring throughout.

The property is 3 miles from Sittingbourne which has a mainline railway station with fast trains to London Victoria & St Pancras in less than an hour as well as trains to the seaside towns of Herne Bay, Whitstable & Broadstairs.

Eurotunnel is less than an hour by train for travel to France and the continent.

Sittingbourne provides an ideal basis from which to explore the historic market town of Faversham, home to the Britain's oldest brewer and the national fruit collection at Brogdale an a small independant cinema located in a fine Tudor building. The cobbled streets of Rochester, famous for its association with Dickens are within a half hour drive away as is the county town of Maidstone and the cathedral city of Canterbury.

For garden lovers, Doddington Place, and Belmont House and Gardens, Mount Ephriam and Leeds Castle are all within 10 miles.
