Head west and after a short drive you arrive at the spendor of the world renowned beaches from northton all the way to lustekentyre,an immensely popular destination for tourists to visit. And as your day of exploring comes to an end , you can take comfort in the fact you will return to the solitude of Rodel Valley.

There is a post office and hair sallon in leveburgh as well as a village hall wich hosts various events throughout the year . A childrens playpark which has been upgraded is to a very high standard is close to the school wich is located beside the hall. From the pier in leverburgh you can sail over to the uists for a trip via the calmac ferry ,or why not take an excursion to the world heritage site of st kilda. Two companies provide this sevice and the RNLI lifeboat is moored at leverburgh pier in the unlikely event you would need her, but it does make for a good photograph.
