The apartment is located on the fifth floor of a small modern apartment building with a lift, two minutes from the sea. The lounge is large with a dining table and chairs to seat 6, 2 armchairs and a double sofa bed, patio doors to a balcony. The bedroom has twin beds leading to a second balcony shared with the kitchen; lovely mountain views from these rooms. Warm climate even in winter. Close to shops and restaurants.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is on the coast next to Menton and close to Monaco/Monte-Carlo. It is about 5 Km from the Italian border. The Alpes come right down to the sea at Menton. The climate is the mildest iin France - palm trees flourish here. Close to ski resorts - nearest is about 1 hour by car; Isola 2000 maybe 2 hours. A car is good but one can manage very well with the excellent public transport.

Rocquebrune-Cap-Martin area

Roquebrune old village is perched on the mountainside, super views of Monte-Carlo across its bay. Menton itself has plenty to see and is only a short walk, just over one mile. Monaco and Monte-Carlo are less than 5 miles have many attractions including the Palace and of course the Grand Prix and various carting races during the year. Many houses and gardens to see. Good walking either along the coast or in the mountains.

How to get there

Easyjet fly from London Gatwick, Luton and Liverpool to Nice Airport. Car hire is not necessary, although the apartment does have an allocated parking space. There are many car hire companies at Nice Airport to choose from or book on line. The airport bus leaves evey hour and takes 75 minutes, a pleasant journey via Monaco/Monte-Carlo and Roquebrune to Hotel Victoria. The railway service is good and runs from Nice to Carnoles. By car take the motorway to Menton.
