Whether it's enjoying your days in and around the Swan River, or having a picnic at Kings park and taking in the amazing views of the city - especially at night there is something for everyone.
Rockingham / Singleton area
Not only does Singleton share the rolling surf and seafood bounty of the Indian Ocean, but close by to its east is the Serpentine River, which empties itself into Peel Inlet a few kilometres south of the town. The prime location guarantees terrific fishing, crabbing and prawning.
On the inlet is the big resort city of Mandurah - with all mod cons - adding another dimension to the quiet life at Singleton. Mandurah is a water lovers paradise with some of the largest water ways in Australia. Enjoy the cosmopolitan lifestyle and take a boat ride through the canals to view an array of breathtaking waterfront properties.
Mandurah aside, it’s only a 50 minute drive from Singleton to the bright lights of Fremantle, and just a little further to the delights of Perth’s CBD.
The Shoalwater Bay Beach and surrounding areas are perfect for all water sports including swimming, fishing, crabbing, snorkeling, boating, and windsurfing.
You can either walk to Penguin Island at low tide or take a short ferry ride to visit the colony and penquin nursery or picnic in the cool shade of the waterfront caves.You can also hire a dingy and take a short trip to Seal Island only metres away to watch sea lion families put on a show.These islands are home to a large group of friendly pelicans.
Point Peron offers great walking opportunities, and is a terrific place for dolphin spotting and snorkeling..
At Old Rockingham Beach you will find a selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner many overlooking the beautiful waters.
Nearby Safety Bay is a favourite for windsurfers, while the jetty at Palm Beach is popular for fishing and crabbing, as the water there is more than 15 metres deep.
Rockingham City Shopping Centre, open seven days a week during the holidays, offers an endless array of popular stores.
How to get there
The property is approximately 10 minutes before Mandurah in a beachside suburb called Singleton. Travelling from Perth, take the Kwinana Freeway to the end and exit onto Safety Bay Road. Then turn left onto Ennis Ave and follow this road unitl you reach a set of lights for Singleton beach road and follow until the end.

Seaview Beach House is the best house what we ever had for holidays.As we left the house we were very sad. It was like our house, we felt home from the first moment on. Everything in the house was so nice, the furniture, the fantastic kitchen and most important the ocean view. Singleton Beach is really beautiful, the water is so clear, it's amazing. And a lot of things to do is so near. When we arrived everthing was very well cleaned an we hope that we did all things right for Paula.If we would stay longer in Singapore, we definitely would come back to the house. But in summer we have to leave back to Germany. But Australia is so great i hope we can come back for holidays in Perth sometimes. Thanks that we could spent our holidays in your house. This is the best beach house ever !! The house the location and the views were fantastic. The kids really loved it , the beach is only seconds away. This house is sheer luxury , every thing has been thought of to make your stay as nice as possible. Great communication with the owners nothing was too much trouble.
