The Western Australia region
Fill your lungs in the morning when you first step outside with the sweet freshness of the morning sea breeze.
The beach is the pinnacle for the property but there is so much more.
Or fancy more adventure. Bike trails a stones throw away, maybe a spot of beach fishing interests you. Ride to Seal and Penguin Island. 6kms down the road is Palm Beach, which is the base for Dolphin swims and cruise tours.
The area is dotted with friendly pubs and wine bars. There is plenty to do with the kids. A 2 week holiday just wouldn't be enough!
The weather is superb all year really. The divine Aussie summer seems to extend from about November and tends to go on long after March.
Around this time its not unusual to spot a dolphin or four on your local beach. Watching them frolic and play especially when the sun is going down is very special.
Our coldest months tend to hit around July and August which is when we see mainly rain. Most of our international guests wouldn't even consider it to be cold and usually at this time of the year the beach water is lovely and warm.
Locals in the area will fish, swim and walk the beach all year round. We recommend you do to. There is nothing more exciting then heading down to the beach after a winters storm to see what the waves have brought in! Its all part of the beach culture that this area is so famously entrenched in.
Rockingham has one of the state's biggest shopping centres with a movie theatre and hundreds of other shops to browse around, the local Warnbro Shopping hub has everything you need from supermarket, coffee shop hairdresser to pharmacy.
