Ground floor: sitting room with double doors to dining room (seats 10) both with wood floors, fully fitted kitchen breakfast room, utility area and WC. First floor: two double bedrooms (with zip and link beds) and single bedroom (with 2 beds), bathroom with WC and separate shower room. Loft room: large loft room with four beds (plus two fold out beds for kids and a cot). There is a rear garden and off street parking for three cars and a garage for a car or a small boat.
The house is attractively furnished for the owners own use and has a relaxed beach holiday style.

The house has a 40ft fenced garden to the rear with a BBQ area with ouside table and bench seat.
There is private off road parking for 3 cars and a secure garage

Change over day is Saturday.
The booking runs from 2.30pm on the arrival day to 10.30am on the departure day .
Periods of less than a week or long weekends will be accommodated where possible.
We ask our visitors to leave the house reasonably clean and tidy.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Rock is situated on the Camel Estuary opposite Padstow which is accessible by a passenger ferry from Rock beach. There are a range of water-sports and other activities in Rock and the surrounding area including sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, kayaking, mackerel and deep sea fishing, tennis, cycling, horse riding and renowned golf courses for beginners and low handicaps. There are excellent beaches in the area for safe swimming, surfing or scuba/snorkel. There are National Trust protected coast line walks from the leisurely to the rather longer.
The area has some of the west Country's best restaurants including Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall and many good pubs for a pint and a Cornish pasty.
The Rock area
Rock is great for sailing and water skiing or a leisurely brunch overlooking the estuary. Ferry over to Padstow for Steins fish and chips and the picturesque harbour. 5 minute drive to Polzeath for surfing and a welcome hot chocolate at the beach cafes. Daymer Bay is a 20 minute walk for sandcastles and safe swimming for all ages, St Enodoc for the best links golf course in Cornwall ...... and much more

Rock is approximately 270 miles from London (M4 or A303/M5/A30) and drive time is usually 4.5 hours
There is a direct train service from London (Paddington) to Bodmin Parkway (approx 20 km).
Newquay Airport (10km) has flights from London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Geneva, Newcastle, Dublin, Zurich, Plymouth). Airlines flying to Newquay include British Airways, Air South-West, BMI Baby, Flybe, Lufthansa, Ryanair and Skybus.
