"Perfect family location!"

Our 4th consecutive year staying in this lovely bungalow. There have been some changes as the owners have updated and refurbished so it gets better every year! (The welcome pack on arrival is a very thoughtful addition.) The bungalow is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac so it's safe for the kids to play on bikes and scooters outside, and the private (securely gated) walled garden is ideal for toddlers. You can walk through the golf course to Rock beach or down the hill to the harbour to catch the ferry over to Padstow for a day trip.
Rock itself is a lovely village with a couple of eateries, a great bakery and a fab deli (amongst other shops) so it has all you need to hand...and is a great base to explore Cornwall.
We LOVE it and hope to visit again in 2014.

"A great homely bungalow in a beautifully tranquil location."

The bungalow is very well equipped with everything needed. Large selection of glasses and enough china to easily do breakfast, lunch and dinner and then just load the dishwasher up. (which makes such a difference!!) Nothing worse than washing up multiple times on holiday!! Loved walking to the local shops and buying fresh eggs and bread for brekkie. Then walking down to the beach and catching the water taxi to Padstow for the best crab fishing I know and deciding what shop to get a fresh pasty from!! don't play golf if I'm honest but right next to the golf course which is a lovely walk in itself, you can cut across to Daymer bay for rock pooling. Loved the private garden at the back. Loved the power shower, the gas bbq and the lovely welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. Mr G Bone is very friendly and a pleasure to chat. Basically a great bungalow i a great location with so many sights up and down the coast to go to. Will hopefully be returning for my 4th stay next year and would recommend Cornish Rock Retreat to anyone who wants a beautiful holiday in North Cornwall.

"Simply gorgeous"

Myself and my partner and our 3 year old visited the Cornish Rock retreat in July of this year.
We were so pleased to have found this gem.. everything you need for a luxurious self catering holiday is provided as well as plenty of books and games to keep the children entertained. The garden is well maintained with BBQ facilities which is perfect after a day on the beach.
It is located within walking distance to the beach, near to a golf course and fantastic pubs:)
There is a regulary ferry that takes you to padstow from Rock beach, kids love it and often call it the pirate boat! Padstow is gorgeous and very quaint and perfect if you love cream tea's.
