The West Country / Cornwall region
Treglyn Cottages are in a part of Cornwall which has become a Mecca for those for whom a holiday is more than the beach or the views - pleasant though they both are.
Those with a love of adventure can surf at Polzeath, sail at Rock, explore the wonderful cliff walks, play golf at St. Enodoc and Trevose, cycle the Camel Trail, horse ride or fish.
If your tastes are more of the culinary persuasion, then sample the fresh fish and crab at Port Isaac or make a gourmet pilgrimage to Padstow.
North Cornwall has been popular with surfers for many years, something which looks set to increase in the years to come.
At the heart of the new cool Cornwall, and a popular haunt of many "surf dudes", is Polzeath - which has this coastline's only "Blue Flag' and is a prime destination for surfers from everywhere. Surfing schools abound, as do the shops, bars and restaurants which cater for their almost every need.
