The property is set in a beautiful country location, conveniently located with easy access to all motorways and ports. Situated 15 minutes from historic Rochester. London, Canterbury and the coast are all 45 minutes away.
The cottages provide a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life but at the same time are situated close to the M2, M20 and M25. Dover is also only an hour away for all the ports and Le Shuttle.
There are fabulous facilities including several benches, picnic tables etc. There is a heated indoor swimming pool and steam room, a mini-gymnasium with a running machine and cross trainer. The family live on site and look forward to welcoming your stay.

The South East England / Kent region
We are close to Historic Rochester which has a Castle, Cathedral, Museum and High Street, and an hour’s drive will take you to many more gardens and National Trust properties or the coast. Canterbury being 45 minutes away and London an hour.
Kent boasts a beautiful coastline, unspoilt countryside and various historical attractions making this a holiday destination that can satisfy all tastes. There are miles and miles of walks through woodland, vineyards and fields, as well as galleries, shopping opportunities and a variety of restaurants and cafes.
Rochester area
Shopaholics can visit both Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres both within 35 minutes drive which boast to be the biggest and best in Europe.
Rochester boasts a number of historical attractions, including a Norman Castle and Cathedral. It also has lovely parks and a museum.

The property is situated one hours drive away from the large London airports, Gatwick and Stansted with many budget airlines operating regularly.

Further details indoors: Full oil fired central heating included in the price, all electricity, bedding and towels included. Doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair and all cottages have ground floor bedrooms.
There is a disabled shower in the pool room. There are no steps at the property. The fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath has ample cupboard space. The property has many attractive features such as oak staircases and beams.
Further details outdoors: We have electric gates for extra security and there is ample parking for cars. There is a gas barbecue and a games room with table tennis, pool table, football table and children's play corner. We also have a climbing frame and other outdoor toys for children.
If you like walking we have many footpaths through the countryside and are also very close to the Saxon Shore Way. The RSPB reserve is just around the corner in High Halstow including the largest Heronry in Europe. We do provide a selection of Wellington boots for people to borrow!
We do allow dogs by prior arrangement but we do ask that they are kept on a lead at all times, only walked in the 'dog walking area' and cleaned up after. They are not allowed in the bedrooms. There are many walks outside of our boundaries on public footpaths.

Conditions
1. Cottages may not be claimed until 4 pm on day booked and must be vacated by 10 a.m. on day of departure. If you have any reason that your expected arrival may be after 9 pm we would appreciate you either writing or telephoning us. Arrangements can be made for late arrival. 2. Deposits on cancelled bookings are not returnable. 3. In the event of cancellation the balance of the cottage hire charges are payable should the units not be re-let. The balance of monies due must be received twenty-eight days before arrival date the cottage may be re-let. In the event of leaving early no refunds will be made. It is recommended that you take out insurance to cover this eventuality. 4. Cottages shall be vacated in a clean and tidy condition. Damage to cottage or equipment must be reported to Debbie Or Jason Symonds at once, and repaired or replaced at their satisfaction before leaving. A charge will be made for excessive cleaning. 5. Under no circumstances must seats, bedding or bath towels be taken outside the cottages. 6. Cottages and facilities may only be used by those named on the booking forms unless prior permission has been gained from the proprietors. 7. Any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool room at all times. 8. Dogs are allowed (only by prior arrangement) provided they are kept under strict control and not allowed on seats and bedding etc., or left in cottages unattended. Dogs must be kept on leash and walked only in the 'Dog walking area'. Owners must be responsible and clear up after their dogs. 9. The management will not be responsible for any damage to client's property by fire/theft or any injury to persons whilst on Stable Cottages Property. Anyone using Stable Cottages and the facilities do so entirely at their own risk and we will not accept liability. 10. The management reserve the right to close the pool room at any time deemed necessary without prior notice. 11. The management reserve the right to cancel any booking before a deposit has been paid. 12. When placing a booking you are deemed to have accepted these conditions. The proprietors reserve the right to terminate the occupation of any cottage without compensation when in their opinion the above conditions are not being observed or when the conduct of any visitor is considered detrimental to the proprietor or other visitors.
