The Limousin has a quiet, unhurried pace of life, making it a perfect holiday destination. Haute-Vienne is steeped in cultural & historical heritage, with well preserved abbeys & Roman churches (Soulignac & Chateauponsac) and fortified castles (Chalus & Montbrun). The property was immaculately clean and we received a lovely welcome from the property manager. Super private pool which was not overlooked at all. A choice of al fresco eating areas - especially loved the balcony in the evening. Be aware that you walk through the large bedroom to get to the other so privacy is limited but this was not a problem for use travelling with our children, might not suit 2 couples. Lots to see and do in the area and the house was also extremely well equipped with games too. Response: Glad you had a great holiday - Thank you for the lovely review |

My husband and I stayed at Chez Corney for 4 days in early June. The weather was fantastic and all the facilities provided made for a relaxing and stress-free break. We hired a car and visited Rochechouart, Limoges and Oradour-sur-Glane, the village abandoned after its destruction at the end of WW2 which was fascinating, if rather sobering.Very good restaurants are within a short car journey but it was great just to stock up on gorgeous food and wine in the local shops and enjoy eating in the sun. The villa was really clean and well equipped, both inside and out, and the location is tranquil and attractive. We would definitely visit again. Response: Thankyou for your review. We are pleased you had a great holiday. |
