About the home

Bellavista is a magnificent suite on the first floor. It consists of a lovely large living room including basic cooking facilities for convenient self-catering, a cozy fireplace and a dining area looking out onto the open countryside. On clear days you can even see the coast and the Giglio island.

There are 2 good-size bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin beds, which share a bathroom. Finally, the extra special feature of the apartment is the private terrace, open on all sides to the fresh Tuscan air, and a truly lovely place to just sit back and soak up the atmosphere.

The Tuscany / Grosseto Province region

A former Romanesque monastery in the Maremma region, Pieve Maremmana sprawls across 500 hectares of Tuscan hillside, with far-reaching views out to sea. The apartment complex is just inland from the southern Tuscan coast. Pieve Maremmana is full of character, cozy and quirky. It is recommended for a week of friendly, farmhouse-style living.
The estate is filled with over 3,000 olive trees, carp ponds, and woodlands. The swimming pool is spectacular. Be sure to soak up the views at sunset from the pool terrace with a glass of local wine as you gaze at the horizon in the distance. You can also book an Ayurvedic massage and other peace-filling treatments at the onsite Oasis Ayurveda overlooking olive groves.

If you are in for more energetic fun, you can hike or mountain bike through the owners' private forest, or even fish for a carp in a lake on the estate.

The Roccastrada area

Dining out is a valid option nearby Massa Marittima, as it boasts plenty of great eateries.

Montemassi, Sticciano and Roccatederighi and the beaches around Castiglione della Pescaia offer plenty of sightseeing. Massa Marittima provides all groceries.

Pieve Maremmana is an excellent spot for intimate weddings, for which you will have to reserve the entire property. A maximum of 30 people can be catered at a time.
