The house can comfortably accommodate 9 people. Upstairs, there are 2 good sized double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.
Downstairs, there are a further two bedrooms: one has twin beds and the other has a double and a single. The downstairs rooms share a bathroom including shower & bath. The downstairs bedrooms are ideal for people with mobility issues.
A baby cot is available.
COOKING & EATING
The kitchen is fully equipped and comes complete with modern gas hob, electric fan oven, integrated dishwasher and huge fridge. It is well equipped with big pots, pans and dishes to cater for the masses. The dining room table overlooks the main living area and seat 10 comfortably. A high chair is available.
The main living area, originally an Armagnac barn, is double height with a large open fireplace. There is plenty of seating for everyone to relax and doors open out on both sides to the garden. There is a TV and DVD player, loads of DVDs, a CD player and a collection of board games and books.

The house is set amidst its own 20 acre grounds with a private pool, orchard, fields and vineyards – there is plenty of space for children to explore and adults to relax.
The 11 x 6 m pool is fitted with a pool alarm. The sun deck overlooking the pool beckons the sun worshippers to enjoy their tanning whilst keeping an eye on the children. For those who prefer the shade, you can watch the swimmers from the covered terrace attached to the house, a perfect place for long lunches! Make the most of the BBQ, play a little boules and chill out in the hammock, you can even use the bikes if you're feeling energetic!
The house is in the middle of French countryside along a small road used by occasional cars but mostly by tractors, ploughs etc. going to the fields.
The nearest shops for all your requirements are in the local village of Riscle and Aire sur l'Adour. Here you will find bakeries with fresh bread, pharmacies and a supermarkets.
The local markets 3 times per week are perfect for practising your French and stocking up on local seasonal produce.
Gascony is slow and tranquil. Choose between days relaxing at the poolside and having long lunches or for the more active explore the local picturesque bastide villages, the bustling markets with fresh local produce, visit medieval castles, go wine tasting, waterskiing and canoeing, check out the international Jazz Festival in Marciac or why not head off to the pyrennees (an hour away) for some white water rafting.

The Midi-Pyrenees region
The Côte St.Mont/Madiran wine region is in the heart of Armagnac country. An area rich in history dating back to the 13th century with arcaded Bastide market squares, surrounded by rolling countryside with winding rivers famous for their healing properties (Eugénie Les Bains).
This is one of the most unspoilt regions of France left to enjoy, due south of Bordeaux and mid-point between Toulouse and Biarritz in the Midi-Pyrenées.
