About the home

Our property's are in Rio Mar, which is a quite and peaceful urbanization with beautifully kept garden and pool area's.

All our property's are Self Catering, with well equipped kitchens. the Rio Mar Bar is a couple of minutes walk away. Serving anything from Pizza to Paella. And the main Mil Palmeras strip offers a good selection of Restaurants and Bars.

Conditions

A 150 euro per week deposit is required to secure the property. An additional 100 euro Breakage/Key deposit is required on arrival, which will be returned after the property has been checked on departure.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca, on the east coast of Spain, is one of the most beautiful regions of the entire Iberian Peninsula. It enjoys more than 315 sunshine days a year and an average temperature of 18-19C so it's easy to see why the World Health Organisation once named it as having one of the healthiest climates in the world.

Costa Blanca means white coast, a name taken from the endless miles of beautiful sandy beaches which stretch from the cosmopolitan town of Denia in the north to the popular tourist resort of Torrevieja in the south. The northern part of the region is mountainous, relatively green and peppered with groves of orange and olive trees along with colourful orchards of almonds and cherries. The much flatter and drier southern end of the Costa is famous for having the biggest palm gardens and salt flats in the whole of Europe. The Costa Blanca is a paradise for golfers with golf courses located all along the coast and in easy driving distance from Rio Mar.

To the south of Rio Mar lies the Costa Calida where you will find the Mar Menor which in the summer months is like a warm bath and perfect for trying out different water sports. Here you will find the famous mud baths which are free and where you can cover yourself in mud and bake in the sun. The mud contains a high percentage of calcium, magnesium, potassium, fluorine, chlorine and sulphates which can help many skin conditions as well as rheumatism, arthritis and gout.

The Rio Mar Torre de la Horadada / Rio Mar area

Riomar is located in the town of Pilar de la Horadada, one of the most popular and charming destinations in the Southern Costa Blanca, with its yacht harbour and proximity to three renowned golf courses. There is a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops, with a more extensive selection of nightlife in adjoining Orihuela Costa. The sandy blue flag beach of Mil Palmeras is just a couple of minutes away, while the neighbouring beaches are equally stunning.

There are an assortment of restaurants and bars to choose from, all leading the way to the beach. July and August are the busy and most hottest months with temperatures reaching the high 30's. Mil Palmeras celebrates it's fiesta in August with the carrying of the Virgin Mary from the beach through the streets to the local church.

Riomar is situated just 1km from the main highway that links Alicante to the ancient walled city of Cartagena in the far south-eastern corner of Spain. Rio Mar enjoys superb access to nearby attractions of the Costa Blanca and the nearby Costa Calida as well as the two international airports at San Javier, Murcia and Alicante.
