Santa Teresa

Panoramic room in Santa Teresa Rio's famous bohemian neighborhood, which accommodates up to two guests, combining real comfort with an astonishing view of Guanabara Bay and out over the city as far into the distance as Rio's mountain range, the Serra de Petropolis. Comes with air conditioning, wireless internet and washing machine, The apartment is big, airy and cosy; and the rest of the apartment also has more great views. In total we have three bedrooms, a living room (with a great hi-fi!) and shared bathrooms. You are welcome to use the common areas in moderation and hygiene. We can provide bed linen, towels and shower gel and kitchenware. There is free street parking on the street outside.

The neighborhood leads up to Corocovado through the beautiful road trip of Estrada das Paineiras, covered by a giant Atlantic forest reserve, which is closed to cars on the weekends and open for pedestrians who want to enjoy the silence, waterfalls, views and the lookout Mirante dona Marta.

For those who like Carnival the area hosts many of the finest street parties (blocos de rua) and is very close to the Sambadrome. Close to downtown, Santa Teresa is highly recommend for those looking for more cultural experiences in their trip. Its surroundings offer: Parque das Ruínas -Ruins Park – Cultural Center Laurinda Santos Lobo, Cultural Center Casa de Beijamin Constant, and the Museum Chácara do Céu with its relaxing and cosy garden.
