Home description

Our apartment is in the tastefully designed Colinas del Golf development.It has been furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped for the perfect self catering holiday. Al fresco dining is a must on the 30 ft terrace. This is primarily a residential resort where you can relax after a day by the pools, at the beach, Golfing, shopping in Malaga or sightseeing in Frigliana.

The large communal gardens and pool area catch the sun for most of the day and if you cannot face a trip to the supermarket the local bakers, fruitshop and fishmongers visit the area with their mobile stores delivering fresh produce at local prices. Anew local bus service, linea 2, stops at the private school at the end of the road, on the half hour every hour, and connects to Benagalbon and Ricon de la Victoria. A new Cafe/Bar with mini Supermarket 10 mins walk opened spring 2009.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The coast of the sun guarantees 360 days of sunshine. Heading east from Malaga you can find the coastal resorts of Rincon de la Victoria, Torre del Mar, Torrox Costa and Nerja. Inland there are many typical andalucian villages such as Frigliana and Competa with the City of Grenada about 1 hours drive away.

Rincon de la Victoria area

Rincon de la Victoria has one of the longest and safest stretches of beach on the coastline. The promenade has recently been upgraded and the local council now employs life guards on all beaches. Many of the local fish restaurants still cook locally caught fish on charcoal fires right on the beach. There are local caves, a moorish fort and a beachfront cycleway that leads all the way to Malaga. The traditional Easter and Patron Saint festivals are also not to be missed.
