Black Sheep Cottage has been finished to a high specification with enormous attention to detail, and is ideally placed in a quiet courtyard setting, enjoying far reaching views over Swaledale. There is a fully enclosed paved patio to the rear, making it ideal for young children. Black Sheep Cottage forms part of a small stunning new development, just a five minute walk from the centre of Reeth where a wide spectrum of amenities can be enjoyed. This cottage offers the ideal base for exploring Swaledale with its many popular attractions.

The Richmond / Reeth area

The popular village of Reeth is centrally located within stunning Swaledale countryside, and is surrounded by spectacular views in every direction. The village itself is very well served with many tearooms, pubs, gift shops, craft centre, convenience stores and Post Office. This pretty village had been developed around a large village green area giving a wonderful sense of community and quaintness. Walkers flock to Reeth where they can enjoy mile upon mile of un-spoilt moorland before retiring to this picturesque village. Reeth is proud of its James Herriott connections, with much of the filming being carried out in the immediate area. The popular town of Richmond is just ten miles away and is steeped in history and seven miles to the west lies the quaint market town of Leyburn forming the gateway into the wonderful Wensleydale countryside.
