Northern England region

Holiday Cottages Yorkshire covers more than just Yorkshire. Our properties extend from the stunning Lake District with some of the most spectacular walks to be had between the mountains and lakes. Down to Lancashire and into the Yorkshire Dales with quaint villages and farmsteads. Into the Vale of York and into the majestic and unspoilt North York Moors and the Yorkshire Coast with the traditional seaside towns such as Whitby and Scarborough sure to the soul. Then down into the Peak District which is a rambler's heaven and naturalists delight. We have something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Richmond

Reeth is commonly known as the capital of Swaledale because of its lead-mining history. At one point in time it has been reported that Reeth produced over 10% of the country's lead. Today the village is a gentle reminder of its past, boasting a great community spirit that culminates in the Reeth Show in August.
