Chateau la Cellette was built in the 15th century and renovated to the highest standard. All of the original fireplaces are intact as well as many of the other original features. including the incredibly beautiful stone staircase. The Chateau has a heated, swimming pool wiith many lounge chairs and a table and chairs for dining. There are several other areas on the property for outdoor dining. One of the nicest features is that all of the Chateau bedrooms have attached bathrooms with either a tub or shower. You will live in a 15th century property with all the modern amenities including Sky TV and WiFi internet connection.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
Celles is an ancient villages that although fully occupied ,the exterior of the homes remain in tact. There is a 14th century Church, boulangerie and sports bar in the village. There is a nice man made lake for fishing or many summer activities such as brocantes, carnivals and village gatherings. Tennis courts are just a short walk away and can be used by visiting the Mairie for a key. The climate is warm during the summer with mostly sunny days.
Riberac / Celles area
The Chateau is located in Celles and the closest village with shopping, restaurants and wonderful places to have your morning coffee is Riberac. It is located 10 km from Celles. Every Friday morning there is a large open market where you can get farm grown fruits and vegetables as well as cheese, an English grocer, wine. clothing and so much more.
The village of Verteillac is 10 km in the opposite direction and it has shops, restaurants, bars and a post office.

Further details indoors: Travel back to the 15h century and imagine yourself inside a castle that has been enjoyed by generations of families before you. It has been restored by a French Architect and an American Interior Designer to the highest standard possible. The bedrooms in the Chateau are all en-suite and the cottage which has 3 bedrooms has a shower, toilet and sink. The gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with more than you will ever need. There is a French 8 hob cooker with two ovens and an American refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker and filtered water. All of the bathrooms come with fluffy white towels and toweling robes for you to use. There is a lovely Orangerie where you can sip a glass of wine at sunset or enjoy eating all your meals in this covered open area. There is a lovely secret garden with a stone table for your morning coffee and croissant which you can buy in the village bakery which is just a few steps away. The huge trees are hundreds of years old and offer nice shade where you can sit and read your book. Nothing is missing from this exquisite perfectly maintained Chateau.
Further details outdoors: There is a heated 12x6 meter pool. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are placed around the pool with pool towels provided. The teak outdoor dining table and chairs have an umbrella so you can enjoy your meals in either the sun or shade. A Barbeque grill is provided should you wish to do some cooking outdoors.

Upon making your reservation, a 50% deposit is required with the balance due 60 days before arrival. Prior to 90 days before your rental date, 1/2 of the deposit can be returned. After 90 days before your rental date the deposit is forfeited. A security deposit is required with your second payment. Money will be wired to owners bank account.
