The towns of Perigeux, Riberac and Libourne have music festivals and equestrian events in the Months of July and August and are host towns to picturesque historic sites.
There are many village markets and events and a list of local 'flea market' dates can be supplied. You can visit three sites to discover the caves with pre-historic wall paintings. Museums, too are in abundance and all around the region, restaurants boast excellent mid-day and evening meals for only 11 to 12 euros.
