On a very large property, completely fenced off, ideal for families. 5 minutes drive to the Golf course. Situated in a lovely region at the limit of the Charente and the Dordogne, in the "green" Perigord, the cottage has its own private secured pool and garden. The village of St Séverin is nearby (600 m) , with all shops, bank, post office, pubs and restaurants.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region

The Dordogne is situated in the South West of France,1h15 min from Bordeaux. Lovely landscapes (green hills and valleys) and picturesque old stone farms and cottages. A lot of artists (painters) have chosen this area to settle. Peaceful rural life, excellent gastronomy. 30 minutes from the famous St Emilion and Pomerol wine regions. The climate can be very warm and sunny most of the summer, September and the beginning of October often enjoy an indian summer with clear blue skies. From the Dordogne you can easily go to the Atlantic coast for the day (1h30min).

Riberac area

Riberac is a small town In the "green" Perigord with all facilities. In the area you can find tiny country lanes with practicaly no traffic to go for a bicycle ride, as well as large sand beaches at Lake Jemaye and at the river in Aubeterre, both easy to park with plenty of space to sunbathe . Beautiful villages to visit nearby, such as Brantôme, Aubeterre (designated one of the most beautiful villages in France), St Jean de Côle...( see photos ) with pubs , fine restaurants and entertainment in the evening. Prehistoric caves with paintings (Grottes de Villars). Canoe kayak on the river Dronne , horse riding, fishing. Huge typical French market in Ribérac on Friday.
