A beautiful part of France in the golden triangle. Plenty of interesting places to visit, including old towns such as Beynac, Rocque de Gageac, Brantome and Sarlat. There are castles and old caves with guided tours that are worth checking out.
The summer months are warm and ideal for just putting your feet up and sunbathing, whilst Spring and Autumn temperatures are still ambient enough to keep your T shirts on.
Larger towns worth a visit are Perigueux with its fabulous cathedral and Bergerac famous for Cyrano
The Riberac / Chanterac area
Riberac is a small town very popular with English visitors and residents. The Friday market is a must for every visitor, selling among other things fine foods, such as fish, cheese and of course wine.
Brantome with its nearby castle of Bourdeilles, set on a river is a place that is recommended and offers a boat trip and one can rent a canoe.
Many local towns and villages have festivals in the summer, which can include barbecues, fairgrounds, vide greniers( a type of car boot sale) lots of fun for children and at night a spectacular firework display.
We will provide all visitors with details of activities.

We all had a wonderful holiday here & will return next year for sure. Colin, Jenny, Michele & Snowy made us feel incredibly welcome & were brilliant with the kids. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped & immaculate. There are loads of animals which the kids loved, the pool & gardens were great as well. We really couldn't fault anything & would strongly recommend it to anyone. |

Having stay here the previous year, certainly says alot for a start! Lovely location, plus Colin, Jenny and family really make this a holiday to remember - like being part of their family! There are so many local things to do and see plus you could stay on the 'farm' for days without even exploring further! Ideally suited to families of all ages plus individuals who are looking for a relaxing and restfull stay or alternatively help out with all the animals - Horses etc We certainly love it and will be back soon |
